young goldfish defect

Defect may not be the correct word (depends on your outlook maybe).

I have a young goldfish (< 1 year) which, as best as I can tell, has its
intestine sticking out of its butt about a cm. Not sure when this
happened, but it has been noticable for about a month or so. Apart from
being a little unsightly this fish seems to be perfectly healthy and is
growing very quickly.

Has anyone else seen this before?

but it could be poop hanging out, maybe a worm hanging out, maybe a tumor of some
