To the best of my knowledge they are
both the same.

However, if your bunny gets it, you
can't assume it is caused by just an
Encephalitozoon cuniculi (EC) infection or
a Pasteurella (P) infection.

Though both cause head tilt/wry neck,
EC & P, have different implications,
for therapy, and prognosis. (ref. Manual
of Rabbit Medicine and Surgery - BSAVA)

Other infections and such can cause
head tilt besides EC & P.

(I know that is a little more than what
you asked for but, we have had this problem
on the group, including myself so,,,,,)

Hi Marylee,

What Daryl said!

I don't know how the term "wry neck" was started, but it is the same as
saying "head tilt". Several things cause the head to tilt so the term is
not really the diagnosis, it just means the bunny's balance is off...
