My hoomin has been getting down on the floor near us and staring at
us. What is the matter with him? What do we do in a situation like
this?

Jump over him and give him a little spray on the way.

When my hoomins do something this asinine, I have to remind myself that they
operate with limited brain capacity. They are loud animals, not disposed to
reflection. If you train him well, you can turn this silly behavior to your
advantage.

Tell you what you do... when he gets down on the floor, go around behind him
and nudge his leg. Make him worry about you biting him. If he doesn't
respond, give him a gentle nip.

If you train him right, you can get him to go round and round in circles,
providing hours of amusement for you and your friends. The best thing is
that at the end of the performance, he'll give *you* a treat.

It's surprising that these primitive creatures are not extinct.

Thank you Lt. Jessie and CWO Quark, we'll try to perfect that
technique.

Bite its nose and run away!
It won't like you, but it's a really good joke. I love doing that.

We've thought about that, but he's the one who feeds us...

He can feed you just the same without his nose.

When my hoomin lies on the floor I sit on her back. Shows her I am the
dominate one and lets he know her place. My hoomins display of submission
is very gratifying. The bunsters in my squad are being trained to take
their places on our prostrate hoomin.

I think you human is trying to be like you! This is the highest form of
flattery.
However, beware he may have an alternative motive. Show him who is boss!
I would go with the nipping him on the butt suggestion until he is too
afriad to lay down on the floor thus exposing his prosterior to you! You
can teach him to show you respect!
