after losing rupert a few weeks back, wasnt sure whether to get another
hammie as we already have 3 others, but after seeing an ad in the local paer
from the rspca appealing for homes for unwanted ones,we went down and came
away with winnie,a beautiful cream syrian who had been bought from a pet
shop originally and it was discovered that she was pregnant.she had been at
the rspca as the baby ones are obviously more appealing than an older one.
shes a lovely pet, very friendly and ive never seen a hamster so excited when
she saw she had her own cage.
very pleased we got her.
happy new year to everyone and their pets.

Congrats on the new furry friend!!

The babies are always cuter, but the older ones tend to be easier to handle
sometimes if they haven't been abused, in my own experience (6+ years in a
pet store).

I'm sure she's very thankful for her new home.

Taking a rescue hamster is a wonderful thing to do. I'm sure she'll settle
in very soon. She probably thinks its Xmas every day having her own cage
and a caring owner.

Happy New Year to you as well.

:o)
