Hello! I'm involved in bird communications research with the boat tail
grackle-see google groups sci.bio.ethology ICJ Grackles and
ENDANGERED SPECIES - Interspecies Communication Journal and also
google groups sci.geo.earthquakes ICJ3 Birdy Predicts Quake
I occasionally cycle into a green parrot flock while bicycling. The
parrots are seen at Publix on Cleveland Fort Myers Fl with the BTG and
in the UTM 17 413504E 2944446N area.
I can speak with them! The greens quickly adopted and mimiced the BTG
"eat eat" on the fourth encounter and hold the squawking when I
project a mental image.
Question: what can I feed the green parrots and how to foster the
relationship.
The BTG thrive on Purina dog food moist with water.
I am told by unknown sources that green parrots do not forage on the
ground.
Will the parrots forage on a roof if I throw food up onto it? Figs?
I'm about to try and find the green's base aviary:know where it is?
Is there a green parrot or wild green parrot resource person in
Florida or specifically in Fort Myers Florida?
