little white worms

Hey y'all...

I've been a cichlid owner for nearly ten years now, and way back when I
first started I had a mild problem with those little white worms. I
followed SOME treatment that got rid of them, but I can't for the life
of me remember what it was. I noticed a few of these things wiggling
their way across my tank today... any ideas on what I might have done
last time?

You need to do the following to keep them away:
They're probably what is called planaria.
Do a hefty gravel vac along with a water change. Your filter might be
clogged aswell. Cool it on the feeding over the next few days.
