I talked to michele and she and bb,cc,rr and dd all did ok. They are among
those who have electricity, but they can't drink their water because the
water treatment plants are all without electricity. (eeeew) Fortunately,
michele has bottled water for the buns!

We are in Roanoke, VA. By the grace of God we only had lot's of rain and a
little wind... we usually have more from hurricanes that make landfall in
NC.. So I'm happy to report that all the buns here are doing well.

We just got power and phone service back a couple of hours ago, had lost
them on thursday during the storm. We didn't suffer any damage but
there are trees down everywhere and some neighbors lost roof shingles
and vinyl siding. Their are still over 100,000 in Virginia Beach
without power and some that had it restored lost it again today.
BunFest camping gear sure came in handy the last couple of days.

Rich & Mr. Patches (what storm? did I miss something)

We survived well Mickey. Thanks for asking. The Big Guy was looking out
for me. I was one of the 400,000 out of 3+ million in the area that had
electricity. I'm still boiling water. I think that we need to till
Tuesday, but other than that all is well. The boiled water is of course
for me the buns have been dinning on bottled water.

Thank you Laurie for responding for me as I was otherwise engaged. BF
didn't have electricity and I guess I'm beautiful when I do :-).

I was worried about Mr. Patches and Rich too, because I know that they
really got hit hard down there. I'm glad to see that they braved it.

michele and the gang.
