Archived from groups: alt>pets>dogs>pitbull (more info?)

I have decided that I have the greatest vet.

Last night Duke was out running the yard playing a fool with his frisbee.
It was around 8pm so we are not sure what he ran into, but heard loud thud.
He had a cut across his chest and cracked his nail in half. He really dazed
himself too. I had to go out and basically carry him to the house.

Well as usual I panic. Called vet at home, no answer so left a message. He
called right back and said im still at the clinic and to come on in. Duke
was the perfect gentleman while he worked on his nail, and checked him all
over. Tail wagging and he was licking my face.

Bandaged foot up and I came up and put one of my little shorty socks and a
tad of tape over the bandage to keep his mouth off it.

Needless to say, my vet said "no charge" take the stinker on home. :)

Just a nice gift of kindness I thought. Duke slurped him really good and
doc sent him home with a treat.

Hope all is well with everyone

Angie and the gang

Good to hear Duke is O-kay. Everybody at the Vet loves Thunder. But, I
have had disagreements with my Vet. Sounds like you got a nice one in it
for the dogs and not money.
