i posted recently about trouble i was having with a very nervous/unfriendly
hamster,we moved him to a different cage that had wire bars and is more
open,and hes a different boy!
i think it must have been the fact that he couldnt smell what was around him
in his first cage, hes the friendliest, nosiest guy you could meet now and im
so glad we persevered,
sarah

I am very happy to learn he is ok now. I think you are right about him not
being able to smell his surroundings. I will always think twice about
placing a new hammie in a tank rather than a cage. I bet he is the happiest
hamster on the block.

A happy hammy is a good thing and knowing you made the effort to accomplish
that show your dedication. I`m very proud of you.
