Question about and undertank heart.

I'm going to be getting a cornsnake soon and I'm trying to think of
ways to save money. Instead of buying and exspensive reptile heater,
could I just use the human kind you find drugstores. You know, the ones
where you can choose the temperature. Would that work? Thanks. :)
