hi peoples ive had my tiel for 5months now, its the tammest little thing ive
had it since it was a baby, it knows when i say no no poopies ive put a
newspaper so it does it on there and if it doesnt get there in time and does
it on the floor it will put its head down on the ground and wont move untill
i pick it up and put it on the newspaper and then it will raise its head
start bopping up and down and starts flapping its wings its so cute, also i
wanted to ask what foods are good for tiels can it eat mashed up peanuts my
mates got a indian ringneck and it loves peanuts but i dont want to give my
tiel peanuts unless im %100 sure thats its not bad for it, and also are
cuccumbers good for it, i left my salad down for a sec and next thing i know
its eating a cuccumber and i went to get it off her and she put her head
down again lol and then i gave it back to her she started walking left right
bopping her head so i couldnt take it off her i felt sorry for her, what
other fruits are good for tiels..?? oww i nearly forgot it loves chewing on
pieces of paper especially plastic it goes sick and lifts it up and chews on
it untill its all torn up should i let her do it, im scared she might
swollow some thats why i dont give her paper or plastic, shes got heaps of
toys to play with but loves her paper and plastic.. im not sure if its a
male or female but i was speaking to this tiel breeder and told her that my
tiel started whistling in a months time and she said to me it sounds like
you have a female, do any of you know if this is true or not and also what
other ways can you tell if its a male or female..

Can I ask what sort of research you did before you got your bird? What
books do you have? There is no point in suggetsing books for you if you have
already read them. Do you have any cockatiel websites saved in your
favourites list? If so, which ones?
We can spend 10 minutes typing out a reply to your post only to find you
get upset and offended because you already know what we typed, or have
already read the books we recommend. A little more info will save our time
and your feelings.

Punctuation is your friend. Don't be afraid to use it.

I don't need your praise, I don't care if you like me and I couldn't care
less about what you say.
