You might want to try changing it's diet, mealworms instead of chrickets
perhaps. It might be ready to molt. Usually they refuse food a couple of weeks
before they shed their old skin. Also, some refuse food during the winter
months. Keep a supply of water available, but I would'nt worry too much. They
usually regain their appetitie.

Mealworms would be difficult to feed to a tarantula, if you want to try a
substitute try cockroaches. I just got a pinkly in one of my Ts that
recently moulted but the rest refuse food at the moment. It's most likely
because it's winter, as JMNAGL mentioned.

New Tarantula Owner - Hi all! I've just been thrown into the world of T's by adopting a neglected tarantula. My wife and I have been doing a lot of research, but I'm not finding all the answers I need. Firstly, I don't know what kind it is! I don't want to attach a photo....

Found a tarantula - Recently found a tarantula. I have it in an aquarium under an 800 watt halogen bulb. The aquarium has cedar woodchips and has a small sponge for water. I dropped a couple cicadas in the aquarium last night but the spider refused to feed. Any tips?

Tarantula psychology - A week ago today I put 6 crix in with Fiero, my rescued Texas Tan. She molted a few weeks ago and is a voracious eater. I then left town Thursday morning. Upon returning Sunday night I found one crix in her enclosure and she's gone. Apparently she manage...
