hello,
having installed a pond in the backyard, i am wondering how the fish
will take the adjustment. there are plants and hiding places, a pump
and an aerator sp?. i have treated the water for chlorine etc.

will they die due to being outside since they are inside fishes? (i
hope not)
thanks for your advice or opinions!

Definitely don't move from a warm aquarium to a cold cold pond. If your aquarium
is
say 20oC, then wait until the early summer when the pond temp is the same. You
could
use a large bucket (clean of course) and half fill with aquarium - place fishie
into
it, then slowly fill with pond water (to adjust) - just an idea.
