I'm torn between getting a digital still camera and a mini camcorder, to
take pics of my dog.
The digital camera is more portable and you can literally throw it in
any pocket and you got pics, but a camcorder, does live motion and
sound, but not as portable.

Which do you find to be the better of the two?
It's all for my dog but i need help in choosing, thanks =)

Your dog won't give a rat's tail about getting it's picture taken, so
won't care what camera you use.

Go for the one that is simplest to carry and simplest to use. Remember
that video is on it's way out....

Go for the digital video - you can have stills and video, and you'll get
used to carrying it (pricey, though, eh?)
