She's beautiful! She looks so grateful to be getting some attention,
too.

God bless you for taking the baby in. I hope you find a forever home for him
soon.

She is such a cutie. Unfortunately, black kitties are the last to be
adopted. There are always so many torties at our Humane Society.

Is there a way you could take her to the vet and get her spayed? She may
have worms too, that might be why she's skinny. Maybe there's a clinic a
shelter could recommend that has lower cost procedures for strays.

I hope you can find a home for her. How about hanging up pictures at vet
offices? Cat people congregate there... You could also put up the
picture on Petfinder. Be sure to emphasize her story. There are bleeding
hearts (like most of us) out there!

Good luck,

Rhonda

Yeah, the problem is that while we keep her , we have to keep MY cats
separated, and they
are NOT liking the fact that they can't be in 'their territory'

My cat Koko has the eye problems, and is currently very weepy eyed, she
has bartonella
and possibly herpes...
She is probably loaded with fleas, although they havent been apparnt as
yet...
We also rescued Kady, the kitty that the dog brought home..

And we are just allowed 2 pets, and already have 3 :(

so far everywhere I have called doesnt have room :(.
I will keep trying.

Hi Laurie,

I didn't mean to keep her, but if you can get her treated medically you
might have a better chance of finding a home for her.

We kept a stray outside once and looked for a home for him. Luckily, we
were able to find him a good home. That's what I meant about hanging up
posters at vet's offices and advertising on petfinder.

Good luck,

Rhonda
