Dawn came and picked up the ferret (thanks!). So you can let them know
their help is no longer needed.

She said it was a very young ferret. She also got bitten by it, but it
didn't faze her. She brought a cage with food and toys, it liked her
food a lot better then the chicken I've been giving it.

Please don't do that! It will surely die. It was obviously abandoned by
someone else and you rescued it in a short time. Ferrets are domesticated and
don't have the skills to live in the wild. Take it to a shelter if you must
abandon it.

PS....hi to all here. I just recently discovered this newsgroup. I have 2
ferrets, both almost 5 years old. I'll tell you more and introduce myself
properly in a future post.

Strange problem: pseudo-estrus and incontinence - Has anyone tested her for a urinary tract infection. That can be treated with antibiotics and may clear up the incontinence too. I'm getting a new ferret - I talked to Dan about the black sable ferret female ferret that the rommate has. After I conceded I was insane and did want a new baby, he went along. I picked out four names for her. He picked out one he liked. I really wanted to give her another name.....
