Spider web is made of silk, right?

How can you destroy a spider web with some chemical stuff?

Also, spiders don't carry human diseases, but they eat
bugs that do carry human diseases. Anyone killing spiders
is helping to spread disease.

I am not going to kill poor spiders! The problem is this: let us assume
spider man catches you with his spider web, how can you get rid of his web
and run away? I think broom method couldn't work bacause the web of spider
man is very elastic and strong.
