Folks,

Leah managed to get a look at Pettal's incision, and thinks is looks a
little red (see conversation below). Does the incision area look a little
red even if there is no infection?

Leah,

If you're not sure, maybe you should let the vet have a look. I thought
Twilight and Flurry's incisions were a little red, and Pettals sounds like
she's feeling fine. Ask some other people on the group what their bunnies'
incisions looked like. There are undoubtedly some people there who've had
the operation done much more recently than I.

gone back to using the litterbox and is pooing a lot. She is eating the new
food. And she is eating her kale. She doesn't seem as uncomfortable
because she is stretching out more in the cage. I just wanted to make sure
the stitches are suppose to be red right? The vet made it seem like I was
to see no red or swelling.

Yes.

The difference is healthy red and angry red. If there's any sign of
pus, serious swelling, or serious pain, a quick vist back to the vet is
in order.

If you don't know the diff between healthy and angry red, talk to your
vet.
