If you want insight into 'why bullfighting', read 'Mexico' by Michner.
Having said that and watched a bullfight in Mazatlan I must say that it
is a sucked out 'sport'. After the bull gets the spear in the neck the
crowd cheers as the bull stands there and pisses himself. The one
matador really screwed up on his kill; he needed repeated sword stabs
to kill the bull. Bullfighting = Life or that's what they say.

if it's noble looking and brave. a bull is a proud animal. to see such
a mighty beast tormented and brought down cruelly by some gayboy
spaniard with all sorts of back up is bogus.

a bull, horse, or bear is nobler than spider, fish, or chicken. i say
we should admire their strength, their might, their whatever. i do not
say let's coexist with them.
sometimes, we might even have to kill them for whatever reason. but
killing any animal for amusement is wrong. and it's even more wrong to
kill noble animals.

noblest animals:

bears, elephants, dogs, cats, pigs, seals, whales, dolphins, apes, etc.

rather, fascists wanna hold onto certain 'sacred' concepts while moving
full speed into modernity--science, technology, etc.

they, well you, love technocracy and modernity is a hyperrealised right
wing concept. for fascists, for example, there is no such thing as
postmodernity. and as for holding on to these sacred concepts, that's
all modernity and technocracy does. in fact multiplies it and spreads
in more and more directions. it's all about upholding authoritarianism
or god and modern times are as adorno or foucault said they are, power
domination control and vigilance just more of it, plus specialisation,
mechanization and automatisation of the corporate cog that humans in
such a system are. course in this scene, all the fascists now call
themselves libertarian. why wouldnt they need to calm their conscience
or obtain votes or call democracy what is mere consensus?
