Our 5 yr old sheltie is due to give birth in a couple weeks. Here's my
comment/question...She keeps dragging her bottom on the
carpet/grass/sidewalk for one thing, the other is she keeps licking herself.
I don't know if it's her anus she's licking or her vulva, she's on
ProHeart6, so she's doesnt have worms. She has also eliminated on the carpet
and we've cleaned it up, no signs of worms there. Could it be her anal
glands or something else? We have a 13 yr old chihuahua that does not
exhibit the same behavior, nor does the 3 yr old cat. (all female animals).

I would take her to the vet as soon as possible, if she is licking herself
she might have an infection.
If she is otherwise housebroken eliminating inside is not a good sign
either. About the worms, you can't always see worms with your bare eyes, and
for the puppies sake you should deworm her to be on the safe side. Deworming
is to my knowledge a routine procedure during pregnancy and you also deworm
the puppies a few times after they are born. I don't know what kind of worm
medicine ProHeart6 is, but ask your vet if it really takes care of _all_
kinds of worms.
If you are lucky it is only her anal glands, but they need to be emptied if
they are bothering her - so either way you should take her to a vet!
