Post subject: What breeds get along well with samoyeds?

My brother-in-law, who does not have access to the internet, has asked
me to research the topic of breeds compatible with a samoyed.

He has an aging samoyed and wants to get a puppy that will get along
with her.

His only other wishes are that it not shed too much or bark too much.

Apparently Samoyed males get along fine with Blue Heeler females hence my
Blue Heeler/Samoyed mix.
