Our little lady, Black Fire, well, she is amazing. She is near 3 years and 4
months now and still plugging along. She is blind in one eye, totally and
going in the other. She ha a bit of back leg paralysis, BUT still gets up
the ladder better than the yearling boys.
She did have a scary eye-bleed this past week. Blood seemed to be bleeding
IN her eye and there was swelling, but it has since subsided and she is back
to normal.
She is an attention hog. Even without sight and her hearing is going to, she
can smell you for miles. POUNCE. There may be 5 guys in the cage with here,
she is STILL the first for loves.
She is a sweet dumbo double-rex, and I must say, she is the softest thing I
have ever touched.
I do hope that all of you are doing well.

Enjoy,

Glad to hear Black Fire's still going. I dunno why it's been so quiet in
here lately - some kind of US public holiday or something? Or are you all
just watching the DVD of Ratatouille on a loop? :-)

The DVD's only just come out here (release date 11th Feb.), so I've just
watched the extra features on disc one, and am saving the film and the
extras on disc two :-)
