Can a 3 month old puppy have a large cooked beef bone to chew on?
Whenever we have a large bone from a roast I am tempted to give her
one but I just thought I would check first. I did give her one that
was cleaned of meat and fat briefly and she gnawed away on it like
nothing else mattered to her.

There are many cases of dogs which get these hard bones stuck in thier
guts and need surgical intervention. I still give my dogs bones, but
raw or boiled is the best.

bones - yes? no? raw? cooked? - Zoot would love to chew on a bone. Nylabones just don't cut it and I don't blame her. The vet recommends no bones because they can break a dog's teeth. Based on the way I've seen Zoot gnaw a bone, that seems quite possible. What's the general..
