Well, this character was an ARA (if that acronym still used around
here, anti-animal rights activist, or whatever.) He'd seek out animal
rights activists who were posting with a college account. Then he'd
alter their posts and send complaints to their colleges. Back then
schools were naive about the internet and would feel obligated to look
into the complaints. Once this nutjob sent in one of those complaints
about me and he e-mailed the administrator his phone # asking her to
call him. The ditzy administrator gave me the e-mail with his phone #
scribbled out, but I could see through.
