Archived from groups: rec>pets>birds>pigeons (more info?)

Some time back, the fathers of my big city, mid USA, were talking about
outlawing pigeon feeding in the city (maybe just downtown). They have
failed to perform their duty. Now it is time for vigilantes like myself
to take up the task. I, along with others, downtown are aghast when we
see people feeding the pigeons, what a mess results from the ensuing
bird population! They've made a complete mess on the ledge outside my
office window, are way too bold getting close to people in public
areas, are disgusting, and release toxic particles in the air (which we
are forced to breath) when they finally decide to flap away in our
midst. I can't even open my office window because pigeon feathers and
particles will come in if I do. What can I spread around that looks and
tastes like bread crumbs, etc. that will either make the birds sick or
kill them outright? (I'm not kidding, this message is dircted to you
inconsiderate people who feed the birds downtown.)

Fair enough, Tony, but if a downtown big city pigeon feeder would
frequent a group it would be this one. I have no problem with people
who have them in the country, but you have to know that 90% of the
people in metro areas hate them, and only because they have been so
overfed in public areas that they have become a nuisance. I swear,
whenever I see someone feeding them downtown, others are standing
around watching it aghast. How do these "nuisance" feeders not know (or
care) that what they are doing is really a big nuisance to the vast
majority of people in metro areas, and totally inconsiderate? If you
ask people like me who see these feeders you would get an explanation
that the feeder must be at least a bit strange if not psychotic.

I don't know it this will help or not. I am a pigeon fancier, not a pest control expert but I would
think that about 16oz. of poison will be enough to finish off an inconsiderate butt head like your
self. First off this is rec.pets.birds.pigeons. What part of pets didn't you understand, dumb ass?
How's about we mix a little poison into the snack machine in the break room? You are OT
so BE OFF!

Where can I find the 90% data at?
I know that the Animal Rights Gestapo will be wanting to find people like
you who want to starve and/or poison pigeons. Pigeons have been in
the cities for many years. They have learned to eek out a meager life
in the city. I doubt that you could control them with poisoning. I doubt
you would be very comfortable in a 6 x 10 jail cell for doing it. Lastly
learn how to wear a hat. Keep it pulled way down cause I heard that they
will also peck your eyes out.

I don't guess I will be asking a psychotic person like you why you are
watching someone feed the pigeons. Why don't you get yourself
a hobby. Watching old men and ladies feeding wild pigeons probably
isn't very fulfilling. Of course someone who is psychotic would probably
want to rant and rave to the old people feeding the pigeons. Yes I
am sure you have a problem. Your boss is probably wondering why you
spend so much time looking out the windows. My guess is if your
psychotic behavior of pigeon watching doesn't change you will get one
of those cute little 6 x 6 cubicle so as to get your mind back on your
work. You seem to be fixated on the pigeons. You ought to buy a
book and maybe get two or three pairs to keep at home so you won't
get fired for always watching the pigeons. You can watch your own
at home and they you won't have all of those pent up anger emotions
toward those old folks feeding the birds.

Get some arsenic and mix with water, soak corn in it and then allow to dry.
After it dries, it should do the trick...BUT, to be sure,,,you should eat some
first and see what happens....If nothing, the mix was not strong enough, and
you should repeat the first couple steps ....and then try it again.

First Tdup, if I were you, I would pray for a hedge of protect
to be placed around you because someone is praying for the pigeons when
they see you, begin to dive down and land
on you to peck you and to poop all over you, they believe you deserve
it.

I will be praying with them.

Good luck,

Tdub,

I think that you are a complete nut case, why in earth would you
intentionally plan on causing harm to any bird, these pigeons that you
are so keen on doing harm to are probably descendents from the pigeons
that saved your ancestors life in a time of war when no other way of
comunication was possible, of course we will allow them the one mistake
for allowing you to be here, to bad they didn't know that you only
wanted to do harm to them later, do you know that pigeons have been
around for 100's of years. You know I think that your incontinence and
intermittent squirting long B4 your bladder is full is going to your
head, not to your nerves as you have none you are a scared little
human. Get with it, you know only bad things happen to those that wait
in pray to jump on those weeker then them, your time will come and who
will you ask for help, surely not the people that care for all living
beings, remember your words and think about them carefully when that
time comes, you have just broken that mirror.

Hi, Ellen:

Hey great post. I love it. I hope that message got to this person. I
really do love it. This person is going to have to answer to God for
the actions that he/she has had in his/her heart to hurt God's special
creations. Pigeons are very special indeed.

Thank you for that post,

madspunkiegirl

madspunkiegirl,

I am sure he seen it but has chosen to ignor it, he is signed up for
other groups and has posted recently Feb 19, 2005, I sent my message
directly to him and I received no comment back. If you click on the
show options next to his name it will allow you to go to all messages
he has posted in other groups. That is how I was able to figure out
that he was an old crotchity nut case that has personal issues going on
and appears to take it out on the weeker species in life.
