pink paw? what in the world is it?

When I adopted my dog at the rescue they said "He has a pink paw, is that
ok? Do you still want to adopt him?" Of course I adopted him and have loved
him ever since. What is pink paw? Is it a health problem? Is he ok? The
rest of his paws are black, is the only difference the color? Thanks for
your time.

I doubt there's a problem. One of my dogs has all black pads,
the other has pink pads.
