This is Tiny, who definitely thinks she wears the trousers in this house. :)

And this is of Pippa and Tiny a few days after I got Pippa. As you see, they
quickly became good friends.

I have been told I am definitely getting my two Xmas girls.
Pics will be posted when I get them....thinking of Holly and Ivy for names.

Awwww! They're lovely! We have three girls, Ratchel, Ruffles, and the
recently-acquired Stinky. I see you have a Savic cage, too. We just got
the biggest Savic Freddie cage so they'd all have plenty of room. It's
difficult to clean, though. Here are some photos of our ratties:

So, you're getting some new arrivals at Christmas? That makes 4
altogether? I take it you must live in the U.K. We're across the
channel, in Belgium.

Thank you, yours are gorgeous too. I like the freddie 2 as it's so easy to
clean and I like the big door. I will be getting a bigger cage after xmas as
it will be a bit small for 4 girls when the babies start getting bigger.

They're absolutely gorgeous. Is your garden escape proof or is Ruffles so
tame she wouldn't think of running off?

Sorry to take so long getting back on this. Sometimes I forget about
being subscribed to a newsgroup.

Ruffles and Ratchel are both quite tame, though we do have to be careful
they don't wander off into the bushes somewhere. Stinky is quite
rambunctious and I don't think that I'd yet trust her outdoors. The
other two will actually follow us around when we're outside, like
puppies, apparently regarding us as safe haven. Ratchel, when she's
tired of being out, will go up the back door and wait to be let in.

New Girls! - Well we did it again and now we have Badger, Teddy, Stuart, Rebel, Ranger, Berkley who are the Boys. And my husband came home with two of the cutest diddiest little does you have ever seen (Pics coming soon) We have named them Texas and Georgia. So now..

Girls weights - 22 Sept Girls - 6 weeks Mishka - 125 (+15) Tippy - 125 (+25) Myst - 110 (+15) Ester - 125 (+15) Tippy, tail - 5" nose to tail - 6", head - 1.75", foot 1.5" Man they've grown. A whole 4 inches/10 cm in length!! In two weeks. Thats lik...

The girls are changing colors - Ester and Myst look quite funny being the lighter two. They look almost like racoons with the darker fur around thier eyes now. Mishka and Tippy still look the same, but I figure thats because they are black and agouti. Time to go and look at rat colors...

girls making funny noises? - How do? One or two of the girls make funny noises late in the afternoons. I'm not sure what she is doing, but I have never heard it in a rat before - not that I have had that much experience with rat vocalisations. It sounds like ...a ...um...half..
