Is it pretty much a given that if a male dog is not neutered, that
perianal adenomas will reoccur? My 7 year old Chessie just got
diagnosed with it and my vet say he will not remove the perianal
adenomas without neutering. I'd rather not have my dog neutered if it
isn't necessary. And I'm a little curious about the neutering part
because he's like Bob Barker when it comes to pets.

TIA

Also I should have added the perianal adenomas appears within 3 weeks
after I put my dog on Thyroid medication. Not sure if the meds might
have caused this but just an added tidbit.

TIA
