A quick google shows that Jokerpit never existed on Usenet prior to July
8th. Yet he comes here and talks to people as if he knows their enitre
history on usenet? Same with Drickets, who seems to have disappeared as
quickly and quietly as he showed up. What's up with that? I DOUBT that
someone with jokerpit's tenacity has been lurking long enough to think he
actually knows anyting about anyone here, without having spewed his insults
long before now. He hasn't been around long enough to KNOW that Bernice
Walker has never posted here before. Why do people feel the need to hide
behind multiple false identities on usenet?

My point? How do you know that Ms. Walker never posted here, if you are
brand new yourself? What do you know of my talk of diversity, if you have
only been here for 4 days? If you have been here before, posting under
other names, that's fine. People do change their screen identites from time
to time. However, most people have the courtesy to say, this is whomever, I
have a new screenname; so that people may know who they are conversing with.

Well Bernice did say right at the beginning of her post that this was her
first post. And one of my club members has lurked here for 4 yrs and only
posted maybe half a dozen times. She likes to read the group but has no
interest in getting involved in the posts.

Undeniably there are tons of lurkers out there. That's why I think it's
important for both sides of any issue to be presented intelligently, so that
people can make their own informed decisions. However, Mr. joker doesn't
strike me as the type to lurk quietly for very long at all.

I got feeling,
Like maybe some people want a new fresh start if they failed to get along
the 1st time.
But the 2nd time may be just like the 1st

It really doesn't bother me if people want to change their name or if
new people don't agree with the way I take care of my three. I don't
pretend to be an expert on pitbulls but I have had both a fullblooded
pit and a pit lab mix and my other bulldogs for 20 years now. I think I
have learned to gauge their temperment. I know for a fact that they
will if given the opportunity chase and make a meal of anything that
faintly resembles prey. I also know that given the opportunity they
will go after a dog that is not known to them. We don't give them
access to other dogs. We spend a great deal of time looking for places
where it is safe for them to run and play. It's worth all the time,
expense, and even getting rained on as we did today to see them that
carefree.
I will say this if anything ever happens yall will never know about it.
I will lie, lie, lie. lol Seriously, it has worked so far and Barb can
tell you that my dogs are beautiful and well taken care of. I have
learned a lot from this group and appreciate their being here. I have
changed the food I feed them and I have started feeding the girls yogurt
(Thanks Robin). Rudy won't touch it. They still get tidbits from the
table but not as much and my girls are losing weight. Rockzie (due to a
thyroid condition) has gone from 115 pounds (as much as I weigh) down to
87 pounds in a year. Rachel has gone from 75 pounds down to 73 and we
are still working on her as we did not know she weighed that much until
2 weeks ago. My vet says she needs to loose about five pounds. Sorry
this is so long but I wanted to express what works for some may not work
for others and I will do what I think is best for the pups no matter
what.

LOL, I'd already done that.. I just wanted to see if he'd fess up, which
would show that he's an honest man; or if he'd deny it, showing that he was
trying to be sneaky. He chose to do neither. Don't know exactly what that
says about him.
