My cat has been acting weird, and we're worried. For starters, she had
been lethargic and despondent for a few days. So we took her to the
vet this morning, and she is not extremely lethargic and now seems
very unsteady on her feet on the off chance that she moves around. She
moves slowly and as though she is unbalanced. The bloodwork done by
the vet was normal, but she has never acted like this before. Today
she even growled, something which she hasn't done in years. She always
lays down often, but she's usually bright-eyed and frisky, especially
if we have a toy for her. Now she looks distant. She's not old, only a
few years, and she was spayed very early, so she is not pregnant. We
are very worried. If anybody can help, please do. >> Stay informed about: Really odd behavior |

In she an inside or outside cat? Could see have eaten something that poisoned her? A plant?
antifreeze? a spider? An electric shock? Best wishes for her recovery. MLB

Is she in pain? One would assume the Vet has ruled out any illnesses. Is her
water works and bowel function normal? The vet should be able to provide a
clue one would have thought.
Maybe she has a psychological problem though this would be the last thing to
come to.

yeah, I would have thought so too or at least provided more testing. Blood
work doesn't tell everything and something is wrong. Please seek a second
opinion ASAP!!!! This does not sound like a "little" thing!!! Please keep us
posted.
