I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to give my dog, hes got a
little runny nose. other than that hes full of energy, so I think its just a
simple cold..

Hi Adam, I was told once , the only thing a dog does not get is a cold. However I have had two dogs now with the same trouble, both dogs I took to the vet. The vet said it was an allergy. Nothing to give the dog. Your dog will be ok . Pat. My lab got a runny nose a week ago. Two days ago doggie went to the vet and they gave it antibiotics and the 8 month lab appears to really have turned the corner. I was giving benadryl for relief but only 2 teaspons though according to the doc I could give 50mg and up to 100 mg for a 55 lb lab. That would be 8 teaspons so I think his math is way off. Anyways the antibiotic appear to really be working. She takes them with peanut butter wrapped around them. Hope it helps Oh, it was $40 !!! >> Stay informed about: What medicine can I give my dog?

ear medicine - Our Lab Zeus needs to have ear drops for the next couple of weeks, but insists very strongly that we not do this. He is very hyper about us putting the drops into the ears. Anyone have any tried and true diversions that would help here?? thanks Bruce....
