i shouldn't have bought that betta from the 24/7 grocery, etc. store!
i noticed his anal fin looked a bit thin at the bottom but i didn't
think anything of it. well now it's starting to shred along with his
dorsal fin. ack!! my sister just had a baby so i haven't had time to
go out to the pet store and buy something for it. i think it's called
myx....something? or purple something or other. anyway, what have
you guys used for fin rot in the past, or what would be the best thing
to do? TIA

Jungle's Fungus *guard* doesn't work fast enough and the fish will die before
it starts.
Jungle has a much better product...it's Fungus *Eliminator*. This will work for
both true fungus and bacterial infections (fin rot is bacterial not a fungus).
Many times true fungus will grow on an area that has a wound left from either
parastie or bacterial infection and you'd need to treat with something that
treats both (the Fungus Eliminator).
It does work well....even for some mystery illnesses that you know aren't
parasitic, but just can't figure out what it is.
