What Lighting... - For a 60L tank. How many tubes and what wattage? Thanks, Marcus

Lighting ? - Looking for light help for a 75 gal. tropical setup. I have a home made canopy, the lights will be about 10 inches above the water. I`ll be using 4 ft. T-12 tubes. I`ll have no live plants in the tank. I was thinking about 2- 50%..

lighting - Ok. He got me good. I bought a 55 gal aquarium and it came with a light. Great I thought. with all the it will well worth it. the light does not work. anyone tell me a cheep way to get good light to an aquarium? sam

Lighting - I have a 400 litre (Rio 400 - 150cm x 50cm x 50cm) aquarium with 2 banks of 2 x 36w tubes. Is this enough lighting? How do I calculate the optimum lighting What is the best of tubes i.e. I am better off using 3 tubes..

Lighting For Rio 240 - I need to change the lights in my Rio 240 for new bulbs (stanrd Juwel fittings) Can anyone advise as to the best bulbs to get for plant growth. Thanks

I've just been given a 2ft tank and a Arcadia Lighting controller type C5
36W - 38W 48'' - 42'' ( 1'' DIA )
is this controller unit any good for a 2ft tank or is it too powerfull.

I don't think it should be a problem. It might be brighter than you
need, and it might lead to excessive algae growth. If you're
planning a planted tank it could even be what you need.

Try reading the Lighting section at The Krib for more helpful
information.
