A petite, cream-and-white Persian walks to the podium; she is carrying
three forget-me-nots.

She pauses, then meowss in a very soft voice:

"I'd lyke to pay tribyoot to Miss Violette. She was one of the first
kitties to welcome me to RPCC; she became my friend, and then my
sisfur-in-law.

She was a sweet kitty, always with a good word to meow about anykitty,
and wuz furry, furry prowd ov her luffly blak furz.

She wuz a pillar ov dis kommunity, an will be missed by awl."
<sniffle>

Anaïs looks up at the stars. A soft voice meows from the dark:

"...Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you...
I loved you so--
'twas Heaven here with you."

We'll miss you, Violette...

I'z had a furry special place in mine heart fur Miss Violette. When I
decided dat I'z needed to find a new home, I'z first settled on Miss
Violette's house. Miss Violette and Mr TV wazn't too happy bout habing a
new kitten in dere kitty suite, but her always treated me wif respect. An
eben though her was anxious fur me to get gone, while we was waiting fur
mineown Paw to come pick me up, Miss Violette teached me lots an lots of
stuff dat mineown mamacat didn't get a chance to teach me. In fact, it'z
cuz of da wunnderful stuff dat she teached me dat I'z now a Tough Girl
Kitty and am able to keep every udder kitty in mine house under mine paw.

Miss Violette, I'z didn't get to spend much time wif you but you'z meant
lots and lots to me. I'z will always owe you a great debt of gratitude.
You will always be mineown adopted mamacat. I'z will allez miss you.

[Harri's voice breaks, and she can't speak any more. She stumbles off the
podium and goes off into a corner to cry.]
