jack russell throwing up

Hi all my 7 month old jack russell x was throwing up yesterday, clear fluid. Today he has diarheared once only. I think that he ate some blood and bone pellets yesterday as he got into the bag. I have kept him hydrated by mouth and by water enima's. Could the blood and bone have caused this? or could it be something more sinister? He is a bit quiet but has gotten up and wondered around today where as yesterday he just wanted to rest.

A healthy diet is as important as water and the type of food your dog eats affects his water intake. Dogs that eat only dry food will need a little more water than those that eat canned.I suggest to avoid ingredients that can artificially increase your dog's thirst such as sodium.
