Post subject: interesting thought
Archived from groups: alt>pets>reptiles>snakes (more info?)

we've learned that when someone in my head says "what's the
big deal?" that it means whatever happened *was* a big deal,
because otherwise we wouldn't need to have a part of us
whose job it was not to think it was a big deal.

it's the same idea with medical stuff, too. if i hear
someone in my head say "It's nothing. There's nothing wrong
with me/us." it means there *is*, because otherwise the
protector vehemently protesting wouldn't need to.

not sure if i've explained enough, but...i thought it was
interesting. and thought i'd write a short post for a
change.

well-adjusted grown-ups harbor a teddy bear -- which is
perhaps why they are thoroughly mature and well-adjusted."
