in south Georgia, USA, I saw an unusual snake a few weeks ago, and I'm
curious as to what kind it was.
It was a flat snake, that, when it got alarmed, inflated like a balloon.
It also "played dead", curled up, upside down. Not very convincing.
It's mouth really hinged wide.
But it was the "inflatibility" that really stood out from other snakes I've
seen. It started really flat, and then expanded when it was annoyed.
Can anyone identify it from this description?
