Hello there,
Can anyone identify this snake please?
Sorry it is a bit dark, it is hiding under a piece of timber.

Location: Gold Coast, SE Queensland Australia
Date: March 26 2007
Size: what can be seen here is about one inch diameter.Have only seen
last 12 inches of snake.
Have not seen its head.
I'll try to get another pix if it moves out further.
