Mice seem to have convulsions as they die fairly frequently. In your
case, I'm hesitant to upset you with this, but she may have been
thrashing around trying to breathe. I know from extremely tragic
experience that a choking mouse will thrash around in a way that looks
like a seizure. Mice with chronic respiratory illness will eventually
get so much gunk in their lungs that they can't breathe.
