Archived from groups: alt>pets>arachnids (more info?)

I came across a spider in my sink in my house in the UK.
It had made a small web across the top of the sink.

Body was very approximately 8 mm.
Legs very approx about 10 to 13 mm.

In profile it reminded me of a British garden spider.

Body was smooth & shiny like polished marble and with a translucent to
white colour

It had two lines from to back of pink markings with each line looking
rather geometric.

Best way to try and describe each line it was made up of a chain of non-
touching rectangles (ratio 1 to 1.5) which formed a sort of zig-zag.

What was this spider?

Hey Andy! I think you have got it.

It is clearer in the second link you gave.

Thank you very much for reply.
