Post subject: Need help and Advise on Clutch of Eggs
Archived from groups: alt>pets>reptiles>snakes (more info?)

Hi All:

My brother caught a red rat snake, which he gave to me about a week ago.
This afternoon, or sometime this evening, it laid a clutch of nine eggs. I
have not had any experience with hatching snake eggs, but I would like to
do all that I can to take proper care of them.

How much time do I have to set something up for them? What are some simple
ways to set up some sort of incubation container? What works, and what won't
work?

Any help would be welcome. The more detail the better. Maybe some links to
where I can find some detailed instructions.

Thanks,

Charles E. Howell, Jr.
