izzy hasn't been feeling well for the past day - she's been lazying
about quite more than usual. happily, she's still eating, drinking,
and pooping fine. about 4am this morning i discovered what i assume
to be the cause - she's been eating the foam filling between the a/c
and the wall, as well as some plaster on the wall in the area. this
morning her tummy was bloated and very grumbly. she struggled a lot,
but i got some simethicone in her. i'm not TOO worried since she's
still eating, but i'm praying she's able to pass this horrible stuff
through her system soon. i've since taped the offending area with
electrical tape, completely covering it. hopefully she won't be able
to pull it off.

as for myself - i was in a car accident last week, and injured my
ribs/sternum. nothing too serious - my lungs and heart feel fine -
but i'm very sore and tend to wake up very early in the morning
needing a warm compress (hence my discovery of izzy's bad habits).

must run now.

take care all,
marri, bubbles, izzy, and little lois

Marri,
thank God you are safe.....it sounds like you must be in a lot of
pain...sorry to hear that.....
About Izzy, eating the foam will do that and you are actually very lucky
since it can easily cause a serious blockage....keep feeding him tons of hay
and water....
Good luck...and take care of yourself ..and healing vibes coming your way !

Marri,

I'm so sorry that you are in so much pain. Sending lots of healing vibes
out west to you, izzy and sweet.

Have you thought about giving her something to help her pass the foam?
Maybe some fresh papaya or some fresh pineapple just to give her a bit
of extra lube to help get that icky stuff out of her.

michele and the alphabet gang (that are ALWAYS looking for some way to
wrangle some more treats out of their stingy hoomin.)

My mother was in a car accident earlier in the year and she
injured her sternum. She was on some serious painkillers for
a while, so I can imagine you are in some pain. We'll send
big healing vibes for both you and Izzy.
Take care Marri.

Hello Marri,

Hope you and the Iz-meister are feeling better. That little stinker!
Glad you found what she's been getting into.

And for you -- if it is the ribs, it will probably take a lot of time to
heal. I damaged one once when I fell in the tub. Thought I was going to
die! I never thought breathing could hurt.

All of you take care and take it easy,

Rhonda

Ouch :-(

Sending lot of vibes for you and Izzy - hope you both feel better soon.
Actually, maybe Izzy would make a good warm compress?! Only if she's happy
to lie still for a cuddle, of course. You could spend the early hours
commiserating :-)
