Post subject: My new girls....
Archived from groups: alt>pets>rodents>rats (more info?)

My new babies are settling in nicely and only had to spend one night in a
separate cage to my older girls.
I started intro's by bathing them together, making them smell the same.

The top two are Pippa (ok ok, I forgot to wash behind your ears) and Phraya
doing the final touches. It's hard to believe, judging by the size of them,
that Pippa is 3 times their age. Just goes to show that petshop bought rats
don't get the good start in life that responsibly bred rats do.
Bottom two are Tilly giving what looks like a leg up to Tiny.

Next Tilly takes a nap whilst on guard duty...(bags I the food bowl and all
its contents!)

Phraya models her new coat. (not quite as curly as it was. It feels like
crushed velvet) Tilly's just finished zipping it up :)

A snack before bed....

Night all....Tiny thinks she should have her own room, being the oldest...

Hi Andrea,

Your new girls are gorgeous. Looks like they're all getting on really
well together. What a great way to celebrate Christmas!

Thank you Sarah :)
They are a joy to have. My new girls have overtook Pippa in size. It's hard
to tell Pippa's 3 times their age. She has really come on in confidence and
is first to jump aboard when I open the cage. How are your three getting on?
