These sound like they are probably coypus, which have escaped from fur
farms and "gone native" in many European countries. They make
excellent pets, but will need a bath or pond to swim in.
Status of Giant Rats - Does anyone know what went on with the Gambian Giant Rats and the monkeypox issue? My cable news coverage seems to have missed it entirely.
