Well folks,
Hope my posts about MR. Wizard helped you see that some people aren't
who they seem.
Frankly, there are a lot of misconceptions out there about how to
properly care for dogs. Every dog is different, wether they're from a
breed that is 'known for' intelligence, or 'known to be' an aggressive
breed....it all depends on the dog, and the owner.
Be carefull not to take advice from any single person, no matter how
much they seem to know about caring for animals. Everybody has thier own
opinion about what they think is the 'right' way to do things.....and
it's a shame that more often than not, instead of involving themselves
in a calm, intelligent discussion, they choose to post angry letters and
close-minded opinionations.
This seems like a good group. i know most here probably feed kibble and
vaccinate regularly...I feed my Ibizan hounds raw and I feel that many
'genetic' problems, such as aggresivness and siezures, are the result of
the vaccines we give to our pets (as well as autism, epilepsy and other
'genetic' problems in children) due to the chemicals in the vaccines.
These are my choices, however, and I don't force them upon anyone. As
long as you love your pet, and are willing to do the best you can to
take the best care possible of them, then I say you are already a good
pet owner. We must always be willing to listen to those who have a
difference of opinion, and be willing to maybe change our own, lest we
miss out on perhaps learning something new.
Long life and much loving to you and yours, and God bless! >> Stay informed about: Dogs, in general |

Golly! It *never* would have occurred to me that there's an
issue if it hadn't been for your incredibly helpful posts!!

Which "folks" are you addressing?? I'm sure you mean well, but FYI most
of us have been on these groups for years, and really don't need any help in
understanding our resident loon. He's been here for 4-5 years, and quite a
few of us were here before him. >> Stay informed about: Dogs, in general |
