Some of us are still here.

Another of ours passed on recently.

Marie was taken very suddenly very sick and passed on a few days later. Vet
had some ideas on the problem, and we tried treatment. She rallied briefly
then was gone the next day. The other three all seem to be doing great.

I've been lurking here for a bit, though haven't introduced myself yet. Our
two fuzzies came to us by surprise when my son left town and gave them to
us. We fell instantly in love with Fuzzums and Micha who are the sweetest
little fur folk that ever lived with us. Our cinnamon boy, Fuzzems, is
about 3 years old and Micha (aka Meeker-meeker) is a sable girl, probably
aged 4.

We'd have never had ferrets but for inheriting these, which means we'd have
missed out on something incredibly joyful -- but you all already know how
delightful a dancing ferret can be. The only thing I regret is the AC bill:
we live in the Phoenix area and I read that ferrets need to stay under 80
degrees F. We were used to letting it get a bit warmer, but the fuzzies are
worth the extra expense.
