I am putting some goldfish in a new tank in 3 weeks. I intend on
fishless cyling it about 5 days before I put the fish in. My question
is, can I go ahead and add water (from my garden hose, not
dechlorinated), now and let it sit until 5 days before I fishless
cycle it? Do I have to have my filters and air pumps running during
this time as well?
I dont want to mess up the fishless cycling by using water straight
from the garden hose, so I was wondering if I could put the water in
the tank early and let it dechlorinate before I began to fishless
cycle?

It's gonna take longer to fishless cycle than that... Figure 20-30 days.
