I started back with fish at Christmas and tank is going well -the water is
great the fish are growing like weeds, but my kribensis are driving me mad.

I bought a pair and they bred three days later, which I thought was great.
They were pretty aggressive to my other fish though and I was determined not
to let them breed again. They laid more eggs, I got rid of them and I swear
it must have only been three days later they did the same again. I didn't
notice until the eggs had hatched so I decided just to leave them.

So now I have 2 adult kribensis, 17 at around 3/4", about 10 two- week old
babies and all my other fish. Once the bigger fry get a little bigger I'll
try to persuade my LFS to take them off my hands. I'm also seriously
thinking about separating the adults. I'll never be vigilant enough to stop
them doing what nature intended. One good thing though, with the bigger fry
and the tank being better stocked the adults havn't been so aggressive this
time around.
