Okay guys and gals, how do you deal with this one?

Hooverbunny... I mean Christopher... has gained half a pound in the past
month. Tibs, who is seriously underweight these days, has not gained an
ounce.

It is not practical nor desirable to separate them right now.

I have switched to twice-a-day pellet feedings because I think Tibs does
better in the daytime (I was feeding only at night), and that way she can
consume a good portion of her ration at a time rather than grazing.

Drs. Potter and Kutney agreed when I last spoke that it is better to have a
too-fat bunny than a too-thin one, and according to the 1/8- to 1/4- cup per
5 pounds guidelines, I am feeding probably a bit more than is generally
considered acceptable.

I was surprised by the results with Tibs. She feels less scrawny to me.
Hoover, on the other hand, is clearly getting wider...

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
Michele (who is in the same situation as Christopher)

I don't know if this could work for your two, but I separate Watson & Zeta
at night, so that Watson can eat his dinner meal in peace. This allows
Watson to eat all night, as he has always liked to do. Ms. Z gets her
dinner in the cage and she consumes it without coming up for air.

In the morning, as she bounds out, she cleans up Watson's rejects.

Zeta is probably 3 years old; Watson is an old 6. We brought Zeta home from
the shelter in December.

What type of pellets is Tibs getting? Maybe he needs a small amount of
alfalfa ones.

All I can say is feed them in different areas or levels.

Can you isolate Tibs for bonus oat-and-other-rich-yummies feedings?

That was what was suggested to me when I had a similar issue.
