You're still evading the larger issue, Karen, which is
your refusal/inability to accept responsibility for
your violation of animal "rights". You still are under
the illusion that you can blame YOUR FREELY EXERCISED
CHOICE to participate in markets for CD-causing produce
on others. You're now dwelling on minor details like
what your scut work job responsibilities actually were
25 years ago, when there is the bulging foul boil of
your moral inconsistency to be dealt with TODAY.

You engage in one empty symbolic gesture of abstinence
but not another, when your so-called "philosophy"
dictates that, if you engage in one, you must engage in
both if you wish to be morally consistent. Your
refusal to engage in the one is based solely on its
difficulty, not on its moral meaningfulness. Your
refusal to accept moral responsibility for what it
means is merely the continued dominance of the
character defect that led you to abandon your son 30
years ago, and to disclaim any responsibility for his
moral development.

It doesn't work. You simply have no standing to be
preaching morality to anyone.
